The Turks and Caicos Islands Hospital is informing the public that visitation to the in-patient unit at the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre has resumed.

The temporary suspension of visitation was implemented as a precautionary measure following the tragic fatal shooting at the Aziza Night Spot, which claimed the lives of two individuals and left another person injured. The safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors remain a top priority for the hospital.

“We deeply appreciate the cooperation and understanding of the public during this challenging time,” the hospital stated in an official release. “Your support has been invaluable as we navigated this period of heightened security.”

The hospital reassures the community that it remains committed to maintaining a safe environment while continuing to provide quality care to all patients. Visitors are encouraged to adhere to hospital protocols to ensure the safety of everyone on the premises.
