Victim in Stable Condition Following Blue Hills Shooting

A 46-year-old Haitian national remains in stable condition after sustaining gunshot wounds in an incident at Snake Hill, Blue Hills.


Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was flown out today for further medical treatment.


At approximately 3:00 PM on February 22, the Police Control Room received multiple calls requesting assistance. Officers and medical personnel were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they discovered a vehicle lodged in the bushes. Upon closer inspection, a male occupant was found inside the car, bleeding from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre for medical attention.


Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, which remain unclear. Law enforcement is urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting the nearest police station, dialing 911, reaching the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or providing anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.


Additionally, individuals can use the Crime Stoppers P3 app to share information securely and anonymously. Police encourage community cooperation to assist in the ongoing investigation.
