The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is reporting a double shooting in Snake Hill, Blue Hills, which is being treated as a suspected homicide.
Officers from the Serious Crime Unit are currently on the scene investigating the incident.
According to reports, at approximately 8:35 pm, gunshots were reported to the Police Control Room at Stammers Run, Snake Hill. Upon arrival, police and medical personnel found two males—one of whom was deceased—while the injured male was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
The RT&CIPF is seeking assistance from the public and urges anyone with information to contact the nearest police station, 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and individuals are also encouraged to use the Crime Stoppers P3 app for sharing information.
