Keeping the summer break energetic, the Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission are continuing to bring sporting activities to the country with the island-wide Summer Camps.
Starting on July 10 through to August 4, there will be a range of camps spanning from Grand Turk, South Caicos, North Caicos and Providenciales.
The Sports Performance Camp will visit each island for three days, exposing budding athletes to various strength and conditioning practices which would enhance their sporting proficiency. This camp caters to boys and girls 13-18 years old who participate in any sport.

Grand Turk - 9:30am - 1:00pm - 10-12 July
South Caicos - 9:30am - 1:00pm - 13-14 July
North Caicos - 9:30am - 1:00pm - 27-29 July
Providenciales - 9:30am - 1:00pm - 24-26 July
In the Twin Islands, the Sports Development Officer Roshano Cox has organised a range of camps including basketball, cricket and softball for youth 9-17 years old.
North Caicos Summer Camps
Basketball Camp - 9:30am - 2:30pm - 10-14 July
Cricket Camp - 9:30am - 2:30pm - 18-21 July
Softball Camp - 9:30am - 2:30pm - 1-4 August
While sports camps are in action the TCISC Project I.D.E.A. Media Club will also be in full effect, where students will be capturing the various camps and sporting activities scheduled. The club members will also be producing sports mini-documentaries and film projects. This is scheduled to begin on June 14, 2023.
The TCISC have further camps scheduled, which include invited players who have been selected on the merit of their athletic performance throughout the year. Various camps have also been funded by the TCISC, expected to be announced across the islands in short order.
