The police are renewing their appeal for the capture of wanted man, Brandon Leonardo Rahming, following a gun murder of an adult male in the Blue Hills community on Thursday.
The police, however, did not specify whether the at-large Rahming is wanted for the latest murder.
The lasted murder came on the heels of Tuesday’s triple murder, which snuffed out the lives of a three-year-old toddler and his pregnant, while injuring his six-year-old sister, in the tough sub Kew Town community of Dock Yard.
Thursday’s murder has brought to four, the number of persons killed since the start of the week, after a man was gunned down in Blue Hills earlier in the week.
The communication arm of the Royal Turks and Caicos Island Police Force, in a media release, said the latest murder occurred in the late afternoon hour.
The police stated that early information is that at about 4.32 pm, the Police Control Room received information that gunshots were heard in the yard of a resident in Blue Hills.
“When the RTCIPF officers arrived at the given location, a male victim was (seen) slumped over a chair, bleeding from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was later pronounced dead by a medical official,” the police said.
The police said they are relying on members of the public to assist them in that, and other murders and also Rahming’s capture.
“The RTCIPF is again appealing to the public for information relating to the capture of Brandon Leonardo Rahming who is wanted in relation to murder, drugs and and firearm offences.
“Additionally, the public is being advised to notify the closest police station or to contact Crime Stoppers and give any information on this incident or any other illegal activity anonymously,” the police appealed.
