Three men were apprehended by members of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) on Grand Turk following an armed robbery on Tuesday of this week.
Reports are that at about 12 noon, two masked men, one armed with a handgun and the other with a cutlass, and decked in black, entered a bar and restaurant establishment located along Front Street on that island and demanded money.
The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a purse containing a cellular phone and other personal items.
Three men were later picked and arrested. It is not clear as to whether investigators confiscated any of the weapons used in the high noon robbery. It is also not immediately clear whether any of the items stolen were recovered.
