A new short film by BTSW Productions and Open Thought Communications "Canyou's Journey" will be streamed on Saturday the 12th of November, 11:00am following the 10:00am panel discussion at the Shore Club Resort in Long Bay.
Canyou's Journey highlight's a can's journey to finally being properly disposed of. It encounters many people along the way as they all experiment with what they Can do with it, however, the can keeps turning back into litter.
“This project was locally filmed, produced, and directed. Everything was done locally. This film serves as proof that we in the islands can produce film projects of this magnitude” said Director Benson Williams. The goal of the short film is to raise awareness about littering and how it travels and impacts multiple environments.
“I don’t think we’ve ever seen a film where the production followed the life of a can. To actually see the life of can be portrayed on the big screen has been my favorite part of this project” said Producer & Writer, Leo Lightbourne.
BTSW Productions and Open Thought Communications are anticipating recording numbers when the film premieres for the first time at the film festival and is encouraging members of the public to purchase their tickets quickly.
