The Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands has placed temporary on motor vehicle dealership licenses, meaning it would not process any new application until before the next six months.
The hold began from 15 September 2024. During that period, no new applications for Dealership Licenses will be accepted.
The government pointed out that the purpose of this moratorium is to allow the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) to review and revise its current licensing procedures to better serve the public and ensure compliance with industry standards.
