FortisTCI has attained certification in ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Information Technology Service Management Systems and 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems after completing a phase two audit with British Standards Institution (BSI). It further means that the company is adhering to the highest levels of efficiency, protecting customer information, and taking proactive measures to secure all sensitive data within its remit.
“This achievement is timely considering today’s rise in cybersecurity threats and the disruptions they cause to individuals and businesses worldwide. FortisTCI has invested extreme effort in ensuring that it’s prepared to mitigate cybersecurity risks and protect vital digital and intellectual assets,” said President and CEO Ruth Forbes.
“Achieving these new standards and recertification of ISO 22301 is a testament to the commitment FortisTCI has to performance excellence, resiliency and continuous improvement across the organization that ultimately benefits our customers and the Turks and Caicos Islands.”
