$30,000 in gifts and other prizes is what telecommunications and internet provider Flow is set to offer to its customers this Christmas.
The service provider unveiled its goodies on Tuesday, November 30, with a media launch at its corporate office in Providenciales, where it announced that dancehall superstar Spice and Turks and Caicos Islands’ lone female disc jock, DJ Zarri, will be the face of its Christmas Promotion.
Darron Hilaire, Flow’s Marketing and Communications Executive, said some of the deals were being introduced to the Turks and Caicos Islands for the first time.
“For the first time we are introducing a new bundle to the Turks and Caicos, our Fibre to the Home Internet and TV Bundle, which customers can get for $160, and we are giving them 75megs of speed on that bundle, with over 110 channels. For now, it is cheaper to shop with us, because everything is all in one place,” Hilaire announced.
He added: “We are also introducing our Family Bundles for the first time to the Turks and Caicos Islands, which we are the only ones that are able to do. Up to four family members can now share our service for as low as $60 per line, and if they are already a home internet customer, we are giving them double the data on top of that for their family.
“So, instead of getting 40gigs of data for that top tier package, they have three other family members to add, and now they have 80gigs of data to share among them.
He added also that the package comes with unlimited local talk and text between Flow-to-Flow network as well as Flow to Digicel network.
“This is the season for families to shop with us and to stay with us. We provide the best values for family because Flow is family, and we want others to be part of that family,” also announcing deals on products.
“Of course, there are some handset deals for customers signing up with us for that family bundle, they will get a Samsung A12 for free with every purchase, as well as some headphones that go along with that. Customers who purchase the 7-day prepaid plan also get the ZTA5 for $100,” Hilaire explained.
He pointed out further that customers who sign up for prepaid deals, stand the chance of winning $200 every Friday.
He said also that there will also be a $1,000 giveaway every Friday to a customer that signs up for any of the bundles announced, “…Whether it’s the Family Bundle or Home Internet and TVI Bundle.”
He said customers can visit the store to collect the details of the various packages and rewards.
Hilaire also pointed out that Flow would be involved in numerous charitable events during this period. He said on December 10, Flow would be celebrating with the people of North Caicos with ‘Christmas in the Park’, followed by the Humanitarian Awards on December 11 of which they are a platinum sponsor.
He said Flow is involved in the Overback Christmas Tree Lighting in Grand Turk also on December 11.
At the 150 Anniversary Celebration of the Anglican Bazaar on December 15, Hilaire said Flow will be raffling an iPhone. On December 21, he said the telecoms provider is scheduled to stage a 60-second shopping spree for a lucky customer at the IGA store on Grand Turk, and the following day, December 22, at the Graceway IGA store in Providenciales.
CEO for Flow TCI, Joanne Missick, explained that the shopping entries are not limited to Grand Turk and Providenciales customers, but all of Turks and Caicos Islands.
“For those customers in South Caicos, North Caicos, Middle Caicos and Salt Cay, you will be entered into the shopping spree, and if one of you were to win, we will fly you to Providenciales for your shopping spree.
“So, it is not just Provo customers, and it is not just Grand Turk customers. It is all of our customers. Those customers will be the ones that pay their bills in full,” she said.
Flow also announced its last-minute shopping on December 24, capping off its slate of activities with an ‘Ugly Sweater Christmas Party’ on South Caicos on December 27.
