C&W Communications Announces EPL Broadcast Across the Caribbean

C&W Communications, the parent company of Flow, Flow Business, C&W Business, and BTC, has announced the broadcast of the highly anticipated 2024/25 English Premier League (EPL) season across the Caribbean.

Fans will be able to catch the action on ESPN, ESPN 2, and the newly launched ESPN Extra channel, which promises expanded coverage for football enthusiasts.

In a move to enhance the viewing experience, ESPN Extra will feature approximately six live “prime” matches per round, along with pre- and post-match studio analysis, rebroadcasts, press conferences, fantasy football updates, and even archive match content.

This comprehensive programming aims to offer fans more than just live games, providing deeper insights and entertainment surrounding each matchday.

ESPN Extra, the newly dedicated channel, will complement the existing ESPN Caribbean and ESPN 2 channels, ensuring extensive coverage of live EPL matches. Depending on scheduling, some matches may air simultaneously across these platforms, allowing viewers more flexibility in how they follow the season’s events.

As an added incentive, all television customers in the Caribbean will have access to ESPN Extra through a ‘freeview’ offer until September 15, 2024. After this period, customers can choose to subscribe directly to the channel for continued access to the expanded EPL coverage. More details on subscription options can be found at www.discoverflow.co.

Inge Smidts, Chief Executive Officer of C&W Communications, expressed excitement over the announcement, saying, “We are thrilled to offer football fans across the Caribbean unprecedented access to one of the world’s most popular sports leagues. With ESPN Extra and the enhanced coverage across ESPN and ESPN 2, our customers will have front-row seats to experience the absolute best of the Premier League, right from their homes.”

Smidts also emphasized that C&W Communications is committed to providing a superior entertainment experience, similar to what they delivered during events like the World Relays in The Bahamas and the Men’s ICC T20 World Cup. “This is more than just sports,” she said. “It’s about delivering an unparalleled entertainment experience and ensuring that fans across the Caribbean never miss a moment of the action.”

ESPN Extra is now available to television subscribers in Anguilla, Antigua, The Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad, and Turks & Caicos, ensuring that football fans throughout the region can enjoy EPL matches live and in-depth.
