Another Murder On Provo

Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are searching for clues that could lead to the killer(s) of a man who was shot in South Dock today while sitting in a car.


The police, at current, are unable to provide detailed information surrounding the killing.

The incident took place in the vicinity of an auto parts store and Tyre Shop along South Dock Road. The premises also houses a car dealership and a car rental outlet.


it is not immediately clear as to whether the man was the driver of the vehicle or a passenger.


“Though details remain limited at this time, preliminary information received stated that several calls were placed to the Police Control Room today (June 07th) indicating that a male was slumped in a vehicle, following a shooting,” the police said in a statement.


Though the police said victim’s identity was yet to be established, social media has been posting photos of him in happier times and his identity.


Head of Crime, Safeguarding, and Public Protection Superintendent Dean Holden has appealed to members of the public who might have witnessed the shooting to contact the nearest police station or call 911.
