The day will also see the 100m Men Commonwealth Development finals, which are scheduled to include senior athletes preparing for the Commonwealth games in England, scheduled for this summer.

The trials are held to select a squad to represent the Turks and Caicos Islands at the prestigious regional championships, scheduled to take at the National Stadium, Kingston, Jamaica during the Easter weekend - April 16-18.

Some countries have already selected their teams to the Carifta Track and Field Championships, including Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and the Cayman Islands.

In the meantime, Flow has established an Athlete’s Choice Award where the general public is invited to vote for their favourite athlete to win coveted prizes.

Each participating school was required to select two athletes to contest the competition. The public is required to vote via social media portal provided by Flow.
