Ministry of Health Denies 'False' Biohazard Alert Social Media Report
Minister of Health and Human Services Hon. Kyle Knowles The Ministry of Health and Human Services (MoHHS) has dismissed as false a report circulating on social media titled “Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands Ministry of Health and Human Services Public Health Advisory; Critical Biohazard Alert,” dated December 19, 2025. One Dead in Boating Mishap at North Creek, Grand Turk
One man has died following a boating mishap at North Creek, Grand Turk, on Tuesday, 16 December, according to police reports. Police say that at approximately 4:14 p.m., the Police Control Room received a report of a vessel in distress in the area. Officers responded promptly and observed a boat at sea with five individuals on board at the time of the incident. A Blue Hills man has been charged in connection with a firearm-related offence stemming from a shooting incident at the Island Hookah Lounge on July 27, 2025.
